Testimonials
What our clients are saying about us
We have had the pleasure of successfully completing large and small-scale projects with Orange County Ironworks, LLC. They are amongst a select few contractors that comprise our preferred bidders list for Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Ironwork in the Metropolitan-New York and Tri-State areas.
Often during the Preconstruction phases of projects, we solicit OCI’s advice to help guide us to the most cost affective approach to a project. We have worked with OCI in both the private and public sectors. Where their professionalism has been pivotal in achieving favorable results in both environments.
OCI has the diverse ability to construct a 100,000 sq. ft. multi-floor Technology Center. To fabricate and install fire stairs and rails for a NYC high-rise project, as well as installing a tertiary crushing and screening station for a new rock crushing facility. They have the wherewithal to perform in security sensitive areas such as air-side at JFK and Newark Liberty International Airports or inside CGMP manufacturing plants.
OCI brings the experience and expertise of their trades to each project. We have found their office staff to be professional and responsive to all of our needs, from estimating to shop drawing submittals. through invoicing. Their in-house erection crews simplify the erection process by avoiding the costly in-fighting delays that commonly occur when the erection phase is out-sourced to a sub-tier supplier. We have found OCI crews to be well equipped, professional, and cooperative, while demonstrating a willingness to work with our Field Superintendents in resolving a myriad of issues that arise during a construction project. While maintaining sensitivity to our needs regarding the project’s schedule, OCI helps us provide our clients with a quality-finished product.
We feel that Dan has put together a quality team that will service our needs in the Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Iron Trades. In turn. Holt Construction Corp. highly recommends OCI for any Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Ironwork.

It is a pleasure to talk about a company as committed and enjoyable to work with as Orange County Iron Works. I have completed many projects with them, both small and large, and have been met with a staff that is professional, respectful, intelligent and responsive. Throughout the normal ups and downs of a project, we were always met with a positive attitude and we always felt confident that we had a teammate with the staff at Orange County. The best testament that I can provide is that over the years I have recommended them to many of my industry colleagues, and I have consistently been thanked for the introduction after the fact, and told how well they performed in their new relationships. I look forward to completing many other projects with them in the future.

“OCI successfully executed and completed a plaza project in midtown Manhattan for Turner. The project had challenging logistics and an intense schedule. The OCI team, from the ownership level to the field operations, handled the challenges on this project with expedience and a high degree of professionalism.”

Orange County Ironworks has collaborated with Kirchhoff Construction on countless projects over the past years. Dan and his team have proven to be exceptional, project after project.
The erection of the twin five story Class A office buildings at our Oakwood Commons project was masterfully completed by Orange County Ironworks and led to the overall success of the project. Their coordination on such an active site facilitated many other divisions to work in conjunction with them.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Orange County Ironworks on similarly challenging projects and look forward to working with them in the future.

On behalf of all of us of the Presentation Educational Foundation/Nora Cronin Presentation Academy, I would like to thank you once again for all you did to get the steel installed in our building. From the planning, the work with your vendors, the fabrication, having the involvement of the iron workers, your visits to the site and all that you have given to help our project move forward, we are extremely grateful.
You are wonderful examples of people in our community who care and who make a difference for others. The support you have added to our building project is not only in structural steel, but also in the hope that you give to us, that we in turn want to pass on to the girls whose lives will be different because of a supportive and caring community. Thank you again, and we look forward to your continued involvement in our building project.
