All structural and miscellaneous steel is made in our two state-of-the-art fabrication shops in Montgomery, NY. Our 55,000 square ft. OCI Shop is where all structural and miscellaneous steel is currently fabricated. In November 2019, OCI broke ground on erecting our new Heavy Bay building – totaling 65,000 square ft. in size. While some parts of the Heavy Bay building will be ready to service our customer’s needs, complete construction of the building is expected to finish up by January 2020. The Heavy Bay building houses two 35 ton overhead cranes along with our Messer MPC2000 machine.
All of OCIs structural steel components are fabricated using our SDS2 detailing software program. Designs are then downloaded into our CNC equipment allowing for the most accurate and efficient form of fabrication, virtually eliminating human error.
